Inner Mentor Visualization
In the audio below, you’ll be guided through the Inner Mentor visualization.
Know that there isn’t one “right” way to experience this meditation. What you discover will be unique to the person you are. Refer to Chapter 2 in the Playing Big book for guidelines on how to interpret what you see in the visualization, and what to do next to begin to utilize the inner mentor in your life. Particularly if what you experience is troubling, or you feel like you get stuck, use the suggestions written there. I share in depth details of how you might interpret your experience, including if this doesn’t go the way you expected.
You’ll want to find a time when you have at least 20 minutes to do the visualization. Find a comfortable spot in your home, and grab a pen and paper so you can take down notes as soon as you finish.
